Spring 2017 | Yr 3 Design Studio at Faculty of Environmental Art, China Academy of Art
This option studio looks at the role of cultural buildings and its role as the Urban Living Room. The program of a cultural building at the site adjacent to West Lake aims to rediscover the sensitivity in spatial quality of cultural architecture. At the same time, contemporary issues of hybrid functioning is explored and experimented through the project of new cultural building types.
